What Is A 302 Redirect - Temporary Redirect | Reflect Digital

302 Redirect

A temporary redirect from one URL to another

302 Redirect

302 redirects temporarily redirect one URL to another. They do this by telling search engines to read and use the content on the new page, but to keep checking the original URL first as it will ultimately be re-established. There aren’t a huge number of practical uses for this type of redirect but it can be useful when A/B testing of a web page for functionality or design as well as getting client feedback on a new page.
