Hey I’m Nick! Graphic Designer here at Reflect Digital.
Creativity runs in my family, so it was only natural that I would follow in their creative footsteps. Thinking back to my school days, I remember telling the careers advisor I wanted to be a Graphic Designer, so I guess you could say I got my dream job!
The reason why I love what I do is all down to the variety of projects, covering multiple aspects of design including print, web, brand identity, motion graphics and photo retouching. The variety allows me to be constantly developing skills and techniques which is vital in a fast-paced environment. My passion continues to thrive hearing happy positive feedback from our clients.
My proudest designer moments is having my T-shirt design chosen by Stereophonics and sold on their merchandise stand across their 2007 tour, and being a big football fan it was fantastic to work on a range of print and digital projects for Tottenham Hotspur. Even though I had to put team rivalry to one side (as an Arsenal fan!) it was still a proud moment to see the creative work being used.
Nick's Likes & Dislikes
When I’m not in the office, I like to make the most of my annual leave by travelling to far flung destinations, exploring other cultures and cuisines. Highlights include seeing the cherry blossoms in Japan and bungee jumping in New Zealand. Closer to home, however, I’m a football fan with Arsenal being my team of choice. Oh and I’m quite partial to a stripey jumper. I am often told that one of my jumpers makes me look like a neapolitan ice cream!
By contrast, some of the things I really dislike are bananas (everything about them - yuk!), traffic jams (middle lane drivers) and when my fizzy drinks goes flat – they go straight down the sink!
