CHALLENGE.
TeamSport is one of the UK’s largest karting companies with 35 tracks nationally they provide exciting days and nights out for children, adults and families.
With a website migration looming, the client feared their SEO needs were not being properly accommodated by their existing agency. As a result, we were referred by one of our partner agencies to support TeamSport’s SEO needs ahead of launch.
SOLUTION.
Our team were quickly onboarded and realised that the site was in need of some serious attention - without which the launch could have resulted in serious SEO consequences such as a loss in ranking, visibility and ultimately traffic and revenue for TeamSport.
From key landing page optimisations for critical key terms (accounting for around 8% of the client’s pre-existing traffic) to migration documentation we enlisted our technical SEO experts to map missing pages, titles and content for transfer.
We also created a full redirect map to ensure all URL changes were permanently redirected in a bid to retain SEO value for the site post-migration.

RESULTS.
Most migrations result in fluctuating site rankings and a loss in visibility. However, with our team’s help TeamSport were able to achieve a 13.13% increase in site-wide visibility within just 3 months of launching the new site with minimal declines / losses in keywords.
