Reflect Digital will be attending an exciting night at the Football Business Awards as finalists after the Find 50 Football Quiz was nominated for the ‘Best Brand Activation Involving Football.’

The ‘football quiz that had the world talking’ had over 75,000 views from football fans all over the world from Taiwan and Nepal to the USA and the Caribbean.

We’ll be up against campaigns for top Premier League Football teams, with likes of Manchester City (with Betsafe) and Everton (with SportsPesa) also nominated for the award. Large multinational brands such as NIVEA MEN (with Liverpool FC) and Virgin Media also make the list of finalists, so the competition will be fierce! See the full list of nominee’s here:

The Football Business Awards, now heading into their 6th year in operation, will be holding the 2017 ceremony at the Iconic ‘Tobacco Dock’ in Wapping, London. The event will be taking place on the 2nd of November 2017.

Why was Reflect Digital nominated?

Since the launch on August 7th, over 29,000 people played the ‘hardest football quiz in the world’ within the first seven days as the nation went crazy for Find 50 ahead of the new premier league season.

Since then, the quiz has had national coverage with mentions on popular football publications such as SportBible, Planet Football, Football365, Who ate all the pies and plenty of leading football forums.

The team here at Reflect Digital were inundated with Facebook messages and Tweets in the early hours of the morning, as some dedicated players refused to rest until they had the found all 50 teams.

As well as putting the football fans around the world to the test, our aim was to create a fun, engaging and shareable content piece, launch it on a national scale and build an audience from scratch.

We wanted to demonstrate that whilst this content is fun and engaging, it has serious commercial appeal and by taking a creative approach to content marketing, businesses can achieve huge brand exposure, grow an email database of relevant and engaged contacts, supercharge their online visibility and grow their business in the process.

So far we’ve achieved:

  • Avg time on site of 11:57
  • 4,284 account sign ups
  • 8.4% of all users that we were able to data capture
  • Only 3% of players completing the game
  • Quiz plays in over 155 countries
