Reflect Digital is excited to reveal the upcoming fifth digital careers conference, Aspiration Digital for 2024!

Set for Friday 5th of January 2024, the one-day careers conference will take place at Canterbury Christ Church University. Open to sixth-form students and teachers from across the Southeast, the event aims to inspire and educate young individuals about digital career opportunities.

This year's event promises to be even more impactful. Attendance has doubled compared to last year, and we're delighted to welcome sponsors like BIMA and Brakes on board. These sponsors, along with others, have been instrumental in making this event possible.

Our lineup includes Becky Simms, sharing insights on starting and scaling an agency business, along with Sabrina Chevannes discussing the importance of personal branding. Plus, we'll delve into topics ranging from AI chat to Million-Pound Business Ownership.

Our collective goal is to address the UK's digital skills gap by fostering an environment that cultivates the next generation of digital leaders. Through engaging talks and shared experiences, we aim to inspire and prepare individuals for success in the dynamic digital landscape.

Aspiration Digital aims to educate, inspire and empower the next generation by:

  • Introducing students to the different careers available in digital
  • Inform students on careers in computer science, media & marketing and running a business.
  • Exploring the different routes that can be taken, such as Apprenticeship training and University courses
  • Educating students on applying for jobs and how to build their professional profiles
  • Empowering young people to find a career that they love

There will be a number of guest speakers and exhibitors in attendance, from local businesses and expert agencies, including Digital Kent and Hallam.

The conference offers students the opportunity to listen to these keynote speakers, network with professionals and expand their knowledge of digital career opportunities.
