I’m Thom, Growth Marketing Consultant at Reflect Digital.
I help clients with Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), website experimentation and User Experience (UX) in particular.
In a nutshell, I help make websites perform as well as possible.
I studied English Language and Communications at King’s College London and have a diploma in Professional Marketing (Digital Strategy) from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
I began my journey into Digital Marketing as a copywriter, account manager and web administrator, giving me (I hope!) a nice all-round experience. I settled on Growth Marketing because it combined creativity with commerciality and data.
Thom's Likes & Dislikes
Two of my big passions are music and comedy. While living in London I toured the circuit performing stand up comedy (reaching the Quarter Finals of a national competition, thank you very much), and I’m the lead singer of a band to this day. I guess you could say I like being the centre of attention.
As I grow older and increasingly mellow I also enjoy writing my first novel, board games and brewing craft beer. Look how quickly that rock ‘n’ roll image faded.
I’m no fan of unnecessary confrontation - who would say they are? Whether in work or my personal life I much prefer to work towards a compromise where we can all be happy.
When people leave their bags on a seat on a busy train. I would go to war for less.
